Embarrassing technical issue, sort of…

I’ve noticed a couple people have tried to make donations to help support this blog and didn’t have any luck.

Since I use Paypal for donations, normally that works out. Then it occurred to me that there are a whole lot of people who don’t (and some who very firmly won’t) have Paypal.

But! You don’t strictly have to have Paypal to use the Donation link.

The page the Donate button takes you to is a Donation page, where you can enter the desired amount in a box at the upper right corner of the page.

Under that, there’s a Paypal login on the right hand side of the page; on the left hand side, however, is a link that says something like, “If you don’t have Paypal, click here.”

If you click that, you can use a debit or credit card, including those Green Dot cards you can get at just about everywhere. Don’t worry, I don’t see any details. So that’s how to support this blog if you don’t happen to have Paypal.
