Using Scapple & Save The Cat To Put The Meat On The Bones Of Your Story

Scapple The Cat

This morning’s post will be nice and quick. I’ve covered Scapple before — I’ve also covered how to employ the Save The Cat! story structure model using Literature & Latte’s other excellent app, Scrivener.

So this morning, I’d like to very briefly demonstrate the power of using the Save The Cat! model with Scapple. The reason why is simple: It’s part of my workflow for those times when I know what needs to happen in the major beats of a story, but I’m not quite ironclad on how to fill the other scenes that need to surround them in order to create a satisfying and organic narrative flow.

Scapple to the rescue!

Thanks for reading, thanks for watching, and as always: Do good work, and be good to yourselves and each other.
